Privacy Policy

LarpRank (“we”, “the app”) is a satirical entertainment app. We collect only what we need to run your account, the leaderboard, and purchases.

Who is responsible

The controller for your data is Paul Knutzen, Claussenstr. 12, 27570 Bremerhaven, Germany, contact contact.vyravisuals@gmail.com.

Data we collect and store

We store the following in our database (hosted on Supabase, EU region — Frankfurt, Germany):

• Account: your email address, used only to send your one-tap login link and identify your account.
• Profile: username, avatar, optional bio, the coarse location you choose (continent / country / city), and whether your profile is public.
• Game data: your Flex Score, badges, and purchase history (which package, when, amount).

Payments

Purchases are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details — Stripe handles them directly under its own privacy policy. We only store the amount, package, and a payment reference to credit your Flex Score and show your history.

Public leaderboard

If your profile is set to public, your username, avatar, coarse location, Flex Score, and badges are visible to other users on the leaderboard. You can switch your profile to private in Profile → Edit at any time.

Cookies / local storage

We store a login session token and your display-currency preference (€/$) in your browser. These are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to run the app — under § 25 (2) TTDSG they do not require a consent banner. We do not use third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. If we ever add non-essential tracking, we will ask for your consent first.

Legal bases (GDPR)

We process your data to perform our contract with you (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR — account, leaderboard, purchases), to meet legal obligations (Art. 6 (1)(c) — tax/accounting records), and based on our legitimate interest in running a secure service (Art. 6 (1)(f)).

Processors we use

• Supabase — database, authentication, hosting (EU region).
• Stripe — payment processing.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not serve third-party ads.
• We do not collect your real name or phone number.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your profile and game data yourself via Profile → Delete Profile, or contact us at contact.vyravisuals@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Retention

We keep your account and game data until you delete your profile or ask us to remove it. Payment records may be retained as required by tax/accounting law.

Children

LarpRank is not directed at children under 16. The app contains mild mature humor.

Changes

We may update this policy; we will change the “last updated” date above.
